Find out if an AAC device is right for your client!
Lingraphica’s free AAC device trial allows you to evaluate the device, establish medical necessity, and determine whether the device is a good fit for your client’s communication needs. During the trial, you will work with Lingraphica’s Clinical Consultant and Client Advocate teams to navigate the device, file paperwork for insurance reimbursement, and submit for your ASHA CEUs. You can earn up to 2.4 ASHA CEUs by conducting a device trial. Simply inform your Lingraphica Clinical Consultant that you’d like to know more about earning free CEUs.
We make it easy to start a trial!
Checking your client’s eligibility
To start a trial, please call our team or submit your client’s insurance information online. After receiving your client’s insurance information, our Client Advocate team begins processing their benefit check to make sure your client has sufficient insurance coverage for a device. Once that is complete, our team will prepare a loaner device to ship to your facility. You will be notified of the benefit check results from our client advocate team. We may reach out to you during this process if we have any questions.
Getting the Trial Started
We will ship a loaner Lingraphica device to you free of charge. During this time, one of our Clinical Consultants will reach out to you to schedule your consultation and training. They will discuss things like your client’s medical needs as well as how best to customize your client’s device. During the trial, your clinical consultant will check in regularly to make sure the trial is going smoothly and to answer any questions you or your client may have. Make sure to log the time you spend using the device with and without your client! You will be able to earn up to 0.8 or 2.4 ASHA CEUs depending on how many hours you log. Click here to download the time log.
Wrapping Up the Trial
If you and your client decide to move forward with the device, our team will work with you to complete our easy paperwork to ensure insurance authorization. Our Client Advocate team will work with your client’s physician to obtain the prescription for the device and then submit everything to their insurance for authorization.
Getting Your Client’s Device
Once the device has been approved by your client’s insurance, Lingraphica will manufacture and customize their device specifically and uniquely for his or her needs. We customize based on the Personal Interests Form you and your client complete during the trial and will transfer any customized data from their loaner device. Once your client receives his or her device via UPS, they will be able to immediately begin communicating with their loved ones again with custom phrases like “Hi, my name is John” or “I like to watch the Phillies!” They will receive a call after they receive their device from our Customer Service Team to set up communication partner training for continued support now that their device is with them at home.
