Lingraphica’s free AAC device trial allows you to evaluate the device, establish medical necessity, and determine whether the device is a good fit for your client’s communication needs. During the trial, you will work with Lingraphica’s Clinical Consultant and Client Advocate teams to navigate the device, file paperwork for insurance reimbursement, and submit for your ASHA CEUs. You can earn up to 2.4 ASHA CEUs by conducting a device trial. Simply inform your Lingraphica Clinical Consultant that you’d like to know more about earning free CEUs.

Checking your client’s eligibility
To start a trial, please call our team or submit your client’s insurance information online. Once we receive this information we will begin processing it. As soon as we determine whether your client has sufficient insurance coverage for a device we will ship a loaner device to your facility.
Learning the device
Once you receive the loaner Lingraphica device, your Clinical Consultant will schedule a time to conduct a phone training with you. Our team will also assess any out-of-pocket expenses your client may or may not have for a device. We will also ask for the medical documentation from your client’s face-to-face visit with his or her physician.
Concluding the trial
Your Clinical Consultant will contact you to make sure the device trial is going smoothly. If you and your client agree to move forward with the device, our Client Advocate will work with you to complete the paperwork for the placement of the device. Our team will contact your client’s physician to get a prescription and authorization for the device. We will also ensure we have the notes from your client’s face-to-face visit with his or her physician.
Customizing the device
Once the device has been recommended and approved by insurance, Lingraphica will manufacture and customize your client’s device. We customize based on the Personal Interests Form you and your client complete. We put this information directly into the device so that, right out of the box, it will contain phrases like “Hi, my name is John” or “I like to watch the Phillies.” Finally, your client will receive the device via UPS. Our team will provide free, unlimited technical support for the lifetime of the device.
