This course provided an overview of Lingraphica’s AAC and therapy technologies and the research supporting their development. Information was provided on clinical methodology to identify patients who might benefit from AAC. This course also addressed common AAC myths and misconceptions and the evidence for best practices with AAC introduction and implementation.

Participants will be able to:
- Identify the communicative and therapeutic benefits of using Lingraphica AAC devices.
- Describe clinical profiles and characteristics of patients who may benefit from the use of high-tech AAC.
- State three common misconceptions about AAC and the evidence refuting them.
Meet the Presenters
Caitlin Mueller, M.S., CCC-SLP
Caitlin holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a B.S. in Communication Studies from Utah State University and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of the Pacific. She is a clinical program manager with Lingraphica, and has a background evaluating and treating clients with a variety of communication impairments using multiple AAC devices and apps.
