Course Description

This course provided an overview of advanced technologies to support reducing impairments, compensating for impairments and training caregivers. It introduced SLPs to four different Lingraphica technology tools; TalkPath Therapy, TalkPath News, Quick Assess, and Lingraphica AAC devices, and provided information on enrolling in the Lingraphica Certification Program for additional, in-depth information on the implementation of each of these four tools.

This course serves as the introductory course for the Lingraphica Certification Program.

Meet the Presenter

Caitlin Mueller, MS, CCC-SLP 

Caitlin Mueller holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a B.S. in Communication Studies from Utah State University and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of the Pacific. She has experience with evaluating and treating clients with a variety of communication impairments using multiple AAC devices and apps.  

Course Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

            • Demonstrate application of technology tools for reducing impairment, compensating for impairment, and training purposes
            • Describe “patient usability” when selecting technological tools for patient-clients
            • Describe four technologically advanced tools for patient-clients.
