Course Description

This course described how to get started with teletherapy and provided examples of evidence-based virtual therapy activities. It included information on using AAC devices in teletherapy and clinical best practices for teletherapy.

Meet the Presenter


Caitlin Mueller, MS, CCC-SLP 

Caitlin Mueller holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a B.S. in Communication Studies from Utah State University and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of the Pacific. She has experience with evaluating and treating clients with a variety of communication impairments using multiple AAC devices and apps.  

Course Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

            • Explain the benefits of providing service via teletherapy, including research supporting its effectiveness.
            • Describe best practices when considering teletherapy, including key issues and clinical practices.
            • Identify treatment techniques that can be used in teletherapy, including common evidence-based tools, online therapy platforms, and Lingraphica’s AAC devices.
